The MCX A34 devices are scalable mixed-signal microcontrollers in the MCX A Series designed for advanced motor control and real-time embedded control.

MCX A34 integrates a 180 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 core, a mathematical acceleration unit (MAU) to improve performance in real-time motor control computations, SmartDMA, dual FlexPWM modules, up to 4x embedded OpAmps and up to four 16-bit ADCs to support responsive control loops, fast math processing and complex signal acquisition. Flexible memory options from 256 kB to 1 MB Flash and 64 kB to 256 kB RAM, plus rich serial peripherals, help developers combine processing performance, analog integration and motor-control capability in a single MCU platform.

The MCUXpresso Developer Experience provides software tools, application examples and expansion resources to support MCX A34 development with evaluation available through the FRDM-MCXA344 and FRDM-MCXA346 development boards to simplify prototyping and feature exploration.
