The MCX A5 devices are scalable microcontrollers in the MCX A Series designed for high-performance motor control and connected embedded control.

Optimized for connected industrial and secure edge applications, MCX A5 combines a 240 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 core with up to 2 MB Flash and 640 kB SRAM with advanced connectivity, rich analog integration, versatile serial interfaces and enhanced security capabilities. Integrated 10/100M Ethernet MAC and 10BASE-T1S digital PHY helps simplify industrial networking, delivering the performance and integration needed to build reliable, connected and secure next-generation industrial and IoT systems.

The MCUXpresso Developer Experience provides software tools, application examples and expansion resources to support development, including the Expansion Board Hub (EBH) for add-on boards and the Application Code Hub (ACH) for software examples, with evaluation available through the FRDM-MCXA577 development boards to simplify prototyping and feature exploration.
