Robert Li

Experience

Robert Li is executive vice president and general manager of China for NXP Semiconductors. In this role, Robert oversees NXP’s China operations and global electrification business.

Robert has more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with Motorola, Freescale, and NXP in various locations, including China, Germany, and the Netherlands. Throughout his career, he has successfully built several global businesses through different stages of development. Notable achievements include expanding NXP’s leadership across in-vehicle networking, start-up automotive solid-state lighting, launching and scaling our battery management segment to a market-leading position, and transforming our driver and energy business unit following the NXP-Freescale merger. Most recently, Robert established a comprehensive and market-leading electrification business across the company.

Education

Robert holds a Master of Science in Communications Engineering from Munich University of Technology and completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
