Ajith Mekkoth on LinkedIn
Ajith Mekkoth is executive vice president of Advanced Chip Engineering for NXP Semiconductors. In this role, Ajith is responsible for microprocessor (MPU) engineering and advanced IP including AI accelerators and related software frameworks.
Ajith is an experienced senior leader with demonstrated success in NPI execution and delivering optimized systems for IoT, Industrial and Mobile solutions. Prior to NXP, Ajith held senior engineering and executive positions at Broadcom and Nokia.
Ajith earned his bachelor's degree in Electronics from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, University of Kerala, India, and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. He also completed the course work and early research in the Electrical Engineering Ph.D. program at Arizona State University.
