The EVBMA7X18 is an electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) -capable distributed cell monitoring unit (CMU) with electrical transport protocol link (eTPL) communication. It is ideal for rapid prototyping of high-voltage battery management system (HVBMS) hardware and software. This board contains one BMA7418 analog front end (AFE) which enables its integrated discrete fourier transform (DFT) feature of EIS measurements. The pin and feature compatibility between the BMA7418 and BMA7118 allows the EVBMA7X18 to also be used in the evaluation of the BMA7118.
