This highly integrated solution unifies secure access and autonomous technologies, streamlines development, and is mobile ecosystem ready. It’s designed to address key requirements for access control such as accuracy of position of an authorized user’s smartphone relative to the door, security and low power for extended battery life. This system solution enables the use of smartphones, wearables and smart cards to effortlessly and securely unlock doors and other openings. NXP provides the building blocks and integration of HW, SW, trust provisioning services and a variety of connectivity options – UWB, NFC, Bluetooth Low Energy - for a complete system solution. This solution is also designed to support Aliro, a new in- development standard in Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA) to standardize a communication protocol between access readers and user devices. As an active contributor, NXP has a deep understanding of the technology.
