About This Training

This training provides an introduction to NXP's Narrowband Powerline Communication (PLC) solution for smart grid and advanced metering infrastructure. The session explains PLC fundamentals, PRIME and G3-PLC protocols, hardware architecture, software implementation and evaluation methodology.

The training demonstrates how the MCX N947 MCU combines host processing and PLC modem functionality into a single device reducing cost, board space and system complexity. It also covers PRIME and G3-PLC software architectures, Phoenix Systems collaboration, certification readiness and evaluation setup.

Applications include electricity metering, energy management systems, smart lighting, industrial gateways, solar inverter and smart grid deployments.
