NXP's Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) reference solution helps healthcare companies and partners build compact, accurate and power‑efficient patient monitoring devices. It combines an ultra‑low‑power (ULP) multichannel electrochemical analog front-end (AFE)—including the MCX W23 Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) microcontroller (MCU)—for precise sensing, secure connectivity and long battery life. The AFE is enabled with Near Field Communication (NFC) for easy activation, pairing, programming data readout while Bluetooth LE ensures stable real‑time data streaming. A tiny wearable form factor, long shelf/wear life and included reference software/companion app is what make the platform designed to accelerate development and speed CGM innovation.
The solution has been fully developed, validated and tested. Additionally, NXP provides all the necessary materials to customize this design with schematics, bill of materials (BOM), firmware, application note, technical training video, user guide and a getting started guide. Enablement is available for NDA-approved customers.
