Breaking Gender Barriers
NXP’s Women in Tech (WIT) program is designed to offer a year-long specialized training to Top 75 selected women engineering students in India. The program provides an excellent opportunity for participants to delve into semiconductor design and develop essential skills for their future careers.
Learning and Development
The program offers online technical classes by industry experts, focusing on practical and theoretical learning, with a flexible schedule that can be followed from home.
Rewards and Recognition
Participants will receive a scholarship of INR 50,000 for their educational support from NXP India and a certificate upon successful completion of the course.
Career Opportunities
Participants will have the opportunity to build a network with silicon tech mentors. The top performing students will receive preference for an internship in their final year and job opportunities at NXP.

Eligibility Criteria
Women engineering students currently pursuing 3rd semester of B.E./B.Tech./Dual Degree(B.E./B.Tech. + M.E./M.Tech.) at a college/university approved by UGC/AICTE in India.
Academic Year: 2024-2028 (For B.E./B.Tech.), 2024-2029 (For Dual Degree B.E./B.Tech. + M.E./M.Tech.)
Students from electronics, computer science and other related engineering courses.

What is the duration of the WIT program?
The WIT program would span a total of 52 weeks.
Who is going to deliver the WIT program?
The WIT program will be delivered by our technical training partner. Additionally, there will be guest lectures by NXP experts.
What is the pre-requisite (prior knowledge and skills) for attending the WIT course?
Apart from basic knowledge of digital electronics, strong analytical aptitude, a keen interest in semiconductors, and a passion for learning are essential to attend the WIT course.
After completing this WIT course what kind of certification will be received by participants?
After successful completion of the WIT course, participants will be issued a course completion certificate from NXP and our technical training partner.
Is this WIT program fully theoretical? Or will it also include any projects? Please, elaborate.
The WIT Program contains individual practise project assignments and industry-relevant use cases including hands-on experience on NXP's FRDM development board, along with weekly graded quizzes.
Are there any programming skills required as prior knowledge for the WIT program?
Programming knowledge is not a prerequisite, but it will be an added advantage.
How can I know that my application is successfully submitted?
A message will be displayed on the screen, once application is submitted. This message is an assurance that we have received your application.
How can I edit my WIT application?
Applicants can edit the responses, if they save it after submitting the application. If you have already submitted the application and did not save the response, then kindly resubmit the application using same email address with the changes. We will consider the application with the latest timestamp.
What kind of questions are expected in Cognitive Assessment and Composition Test?
For the Cognitive Assessment and Composition Test, it may include questions related to but not limited to programming, data structures, basic electronics, aptitude, logical reasoning, current industry trends and topics related to semiconductors. These are just indicative topics shared for your reference and preparation purposes.
