The 68HC908MR Quick Start Software Development Kit has been developed to compliment the existing development environment for the NXP® 68HC908MR series of 8-bit microcontrollers. It provides a software infrastructure that allows development of efficient software applications that are portable and reusable between different chips of the 68HC08 architecture. Maximum portability is achieved for devices with comparable on-chip peripheral modules. The tool contains fully-debugged peripheral drivers, algorithm libraries and example applications. The libraries are targeted mainly for the motor control applications. The 68HC908MRQS Quick Start Software Development Kit supports both the Metrowerks and Cosmic compilers.
