The MMA3221 series of dual axis (X and Y) silicon capacitive, micro-machined accelerometers features signal conditioning, a four-pole low-pass filter, temperature compensation, and separate outputs for the two axes.
- Targets automotive, industrial, and consumer applications such as vibration recording, impact monitoring, appliance control, hard drive protection, virtual reality input, and sports diagnostics
- Includes factory-set zero-g offset full-scale span and filter cut-off; requires no external devices
- Verifies system functionality via full-system self-test capability
