 DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE
 -----------------------
 Motorola is pleased to announce the introduction of a new mask for
 the ColdFire MCF5102 product line. This new mask set is 0K07K.


 The 0K07K will be produced in conjunction with the current MCF5102
 mask set 2F28T.  The 0K07K is electrically and mechanically
 identical to the 2F28T.  This change will help increase product
 supply and help Motorola better supply customers in the future.


 Motorola will eventually replace the 2F28T mask with the 0K07K in
 3Q01.

 The 0K07K does not change form, fit, or function of the MCF5102 non
 revision device part numbers.  As a result, Motorola MCF5102 device
 part numbers will remain as RevB.  The new mask number will appear
 on the marking of the MCF5102 RevB device part numbers.

 Please contact your local Motorola SPS salesperson or representative
 for additional information.

 CHANGED PART IDENTIFICATION

 The device marking will now have the new mask annotated.

 The new mask number on the device marking will be 0K07K.
