How to flash and run the AN3796 slcd_driver example for kinetis family:

For this example code you need:
  TWR-K53N512 or TWR-K40X256 
  TWRPI-SLCD module.
  P&E terminal Utility

Also you need to have installed the terminal utility, available on the P&E OSBDM OSJTAG Virtual Serial ToolBox.
Unzip the AN3796sw.zip.

A couple of videos are provided in kinetis folder to help you on how to run this example, the slcd_driver_cw.avi and the slcd_driver_iar.avi


1) Using CW10  (slcd_driver_cw.avi)
a. Open CW for MCU V10.1
b. Select the workspace in your working directory \kinetis
c. Close the welcome window.
d. Import the projects from ..\kinetis
e. Select the project (K40 or K53)
f. Select the build configuration (RAM, Flash)
g. Run debugger,
h. Select the proper debug configuration  (for example FLASH_PnE OSJTAG)
i. Click on Resume button to run the application
j. Open the terminal utility
k. Press any key to see measurements of capacitance of the pins



2) Using IAR embedded workbench for ARM 6.21  (slcd_driver_iar.avi)
a. Open IAR embedded workbench for ARM 6.21  
b. Open the file  ..\kinetis\build\iar\slcd_driver\ slcd_driver.eww
c. Select the project (K40 or K53)
d. Select the target  to build (FLASH, RAM)
e. Click on Make the project button
f. Click on Download and debug button
g. Click on Go button
h. Open the terminal utility
i. Press any key to see measurements of capacitance of the pins
